Hello

I’ve spent more than 20 years in program development and project management, working alongside the military, public agencies, and community organizations. As a military spouse, I’ve lived in eleven different states, learning to adapt, organize, and make each new place feel like home. Those experiences taught me how to manage change with empathy, patience, and trust.

I’ve always been the one people call when something needs to get done, whether that means finding the right service, organizing the details, or stepping in to help someone navigate a challenging situation. It’s something that comes naturally to me. As the oldest in my family and a proud Texas A&M Aggie, loyalty, integrity, and service have shaped how I approach everything I do.

From Experience to Purpose

My grandfather was a big part of my world. For nearly twenty years, he lived with us or close by, and caring for him became part of my everyday life. From navigating the VA and managing appointments to arranging transportation, handling home safety updates, and making sure he had everything he needed, I learned firsthand how much time, coordination, and heart it takes to keep things running smoothly.

Even with him nearby, it was hard enough to balance it all, managing work, family, and daily responsibilities while ensuring he was cared for. I often thought about how much harder it would have been if he had lived far away. How would I have managed it from a distance? How do others take time off work, make the calls, and find trustworthy help when they can’t be there in person?

That’s when it hit me—I wasn’t the only one trying to juggle it all. So many families are quietly doing the same thing, using vacation days, lunch breaks, and late nights to support their loved ones through life’s transitions. Wilmington is a wonderful, thriving senior community, but it can still be hard to know where to start. Who do you call when your parents need help? What resources are available? And what happens if you can’t be here to handle it yourself?

That’s why I created Trusted Transitions, to bridge that gap. To be the trusted connection that helps families navigate change with compassion, organization, and understanding. Whether it’s coordinating appointments, preparing a home, or connecting you with reliable services, we’re here to make life’s transitions a little easier and a lot less stressful.
